What is GigMaven?
GigMaven is a new innovative way for aspiring artists to connect with live music venues. It allows artists and venues to find and book gigs online, making booking gigs a hassle-free process.

Just create a profile, upload your music and pictures, and apply to gigs. It's that simple. After you've applied, venues will respond to let you know whether or not you've been accepted to play that gig.
Is GigMaven free?
Yes. It's already hard enough to make it in the industry, and artists don't need another bill to pay. All we ask is that you fill out your profile, apply, and give it your all.
What's the catch?
No catch. We want to help artists out.
How does GigMaven work?
After you create a profile, GigMaven works by allowing artists to apply to open gigs that venues create. Artists can search for open gigs and apply to them.
How can I contact GigMaven?

What does "Beta" mean?
Beta means the site works, but we're working 24/7 to make it better. Please tell us any ways we can improve.
How can I invite my friends to GigMaven?
You can invite your friends to GigMaven from the "Home" page by typing an email address into the text box and then clicking "Send Invite."
Sign Up and Log In
How do I sign up?
Just click "Sign up" on the homepage, fill in the information and you're good to go!
How do I log-in?
Go to www.gigmaven.com and type in your email address and password. If you want, you can click on the "remember me" box and it will remember your email address.
What if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, click on the "Forgot your info?" link below your sign in information. After you click on that link, follow the instructions and type in your email address and the security code and click "Find my info". Your password will then be emailed to that email address you typed in.
How can I cancel my GigMaven membership?
If you want to cancel your free GigMaven membership, please send an email to requesting a cancellation. But remember, it's free, so why would you want to cancel?

How do I add information to my profile?
  1. Go to the Home page
  2. Click on "Create your profile," which will take you to the Edit Profile page
  3. Click on the tabs to access the corresponding areas on your profile
  4. After you add information, remember to click "Save Changes" so that the changes you made are saved to your profile
How do I edit information on my profile?
  1. Go to the "Profile" header and click on "Edit Profile" on the drop down menu
  2. Click on the tabs to access the corresponding areas on your profile

How can I upload a profile picture?
  1. Go to the "Profile" header and click on "Edit Profile" in the drop down menu
  2. On the "Edit Profile" page, click on the "Profile Image" tab
  3. Click the "Browse" button and locate the picture on your computer that you would like to upload
  4. Click "Save Changes" and then you're finished
How can I upload other pictures?
  1. Go to the "Profile" header and click on "My Pictures" in the drop down menu
  2. Click the "Browse" button and locate the image file on your computer that you would like to upload
  3. Click "Upload" and then you're finished
How can I upload my music?
  1. Go to the "Profile" header and click on "My Music" in the drop down menu
  2. Click the "Browse" button and locate the music file on your computer that you would like to upload
  3. Type in the title of the song
  4. Click "Upload" and then you're finished

How secure is my personal information?
All your personal information (name, email address, etc) is strictly confidential and we will never sell or forward it to anyone. To learn more, check out our Privacy Policy.

I'm on shared computer. How do I make sure no one can access my account?
If you're on a shared computer, make sure to always "Log out" (the link on the top right corner of every page) after each GigMaven session. Also, make sure the "Remember Me" box isn't checked when you log in.
How can I report abuse behavior?
If you come across abusive or severely inappropriate behavior (sexually explicit or violent images, threatening or hateful language, racism) please report it to us by sending an email to . How Does GigMaven Work?
How do I find an open gig?
If you want to find an open gig while you are logged in, you can do it three ways:
  1. From your logged-in homepage, click on your desired city, then click the venue desired. Venues with a number such as "(1)" have that number of available gigs. Click on that venue to proceed. Click on the "View gig" and then "Apply Now!"
  2. Click "Find Venues" from the search button. Type in your desired venue.
  3. Click "Browse Venues". Then click your desired city and venue.
If you want to find an open gig while you are not logged in, you can click on your desired city, then click the venue desired. Venues with a number such as "(1)" have that number of available gigs. Click on that venue to proceed. You will then be asked to sign up.
How do I book a gig?
After you have found an open gig, click on "Apply Now!" to apply. Yes, it's that simple. You will not receive an email simply for applying to a gig. However, once you have been approved by the venue, you will receive an email confirming the gig information.
What if I need to cancel my gig?
If something comes up and you need to cancel the gig, you need to reach out to the venue and let them know.
